Do I need to register my conference room number?
You don't! You only need to tell the participants of the call. When you dial into the call, we will automatically create the conference room for you.
How many people can I invite to my conference call?
Up to 12 people on our standard service, or up to 100 with conference genie plus. We recommend that conference calls with large numbers of participants request that people not talking mute their phone to minimise background noise.
Is there a limit to the duration or number of conference calls I can make?
No, make as many conference calls as you like, as often as you like!

Is the service secure?
Yes. We recommend choosing a number that is not easy to guess for your conference room. So avoid 123456 etc.
There is approximately a one in a million chance that someone will choose the same number as you and a much slimmer chance that they will be holding a conference call at the same time.
When your in a call, the first person to dial in will always hear the message 'you are currently the only person in this conference'. Each subsequent caller will be announced before joining the call. So you always know how many people are in your conference.

Is it really free? How do you make money?
Yes the service is really free. You only pay for the cost of the phone call. We get paid a small fee from our phone provider for each call made.
Can I record my conference calls ?
Yes. We issue you with a special pin protected conference number where all your calls are recorded and made immediately available to download from a secure web site. The service costs £20 a month + VAT and includes unlimited use. Find out more here.
